Maria Weeks is a sweet
and honest metalhead from central Wisconsin. She has a complete and loyal group of family and friends that support her
while she heads onto a new exciting venture! The Tide, her new publication
promoting artists and writers of Wisconsin and neighboring land, will meet its fifth issue in late September. Maria
"Ria" Weeks has been a supportive and nobel source for creativity for nearly two decades. Formerly, she assisted
the brutal death metal machine of Fond Du Lac, Wisconsin known as Rictus Grin.
Ria's transition through life is inspiring and motivational. She takes the very brutal of the elements of lives
and turns it into gasping beauty, disturbing and insightful to the lessons we should be learning. Her art and poetry
has a tendency to tell the observer that even in the darkest of times and the saddest of natural emotion, a human is never
so different. Ria's inner circle is blessed with the gift of "Riality"-
a meaningful perspective to the nature of the effects in everyone's turbulent history of changes. Through hard times,
we all learn lessons and develop insights. In the
tides of change, Ria's passion for art remains bold and strong. Elizadeth Hetherington took notice to her
art soon after their meeting and demanded an attempt for her own work, Nature of the Daughters. Elizadeth was so moved
by the accuracy of her dark colors that she quickly adopted Ria as her only artist. Deth Publishing is proud to display
few of her creations on these pages. For any information about her art, publication, music or otherwise, please send
inquiries to justifymysanity@yahoo.com.

Six Feet Under Conventional Horror Lies a Terrifying Reality... |

"I love metal! I love how it has a mathematical quality where the intertwining rhythms play upon the need for
fast pummeling intensity and logical progression. Then it has a melodic nature with occasional talented solos, eerie
dark melodies and occasional singing vocals. It's such a coupling of contradiction and yet it works so well and
brings forth such emotion and passion, both dark and light! I think it's highly talented music, too with the intricacies
of performance, melding together many styles and interests, and viewpoints from various artists into one congealed industry.
I think metal will always be on my top preference for music." |
